Koena Mitra, born January 7, 1979 in Kolkata, India, is an actress in the Bollywood film industry, she was also a very successful and experienced model. Her name "Koena" is a name of a river in India.
Fame
She initially gained prominence through winning Gladrags magazine's Mega Model Contest in 2002,Koena’s first break in Bollywood was an item number in Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Road’; the song “Khullam Khulla” became a big craze.She also appeared in a Tamil film Dhool with actor vikram in the title song. Koena played the lead lady in Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena. Recently, she is said to be associated with Jhalak Dikhla Jaa as the wild card entrant.
