Bollywood hunk John Abraham, who is famous for his passion for biking, has no desire to settle down soon as the actor believes that he is already married to his bikes.

John Abraham says that he will think about marrying a girl only after he adds four more bikes to his collection.

“I love motorcycles, I am married to them and I have had a honeymoon period with them. I don’t let anyone sit on my
bikes or touch them,” the actor said.

It is said that the 36-year-old actor is so protective of his bikes that even his girlfriend of seven years actress Bipasha Basu doesn’t like to sit on them.

“Bipasha doesn’t like sitting behind me on bikes as I keep complaining about the bike getting scratched or damaged,” said the actor, who has been chosen the brand ambassador for Yamaha Motor in India.

SRK talking to the students said, ’’I’m the most successful failure. My mother didn’t live long enough to see me become a superstar. Ab pata nahin Delhi mein yeh word use karte hain ya nahin, but there were times jab meri kudki ho gayi thi. Kudki is when you lose everything and you’re on the road. I equated poverty to failure at one point in my life. I didn’t want to be poor. So I did Deewana, a film that Armaan Kohli had refused. I did Baazigar that my friend Salman didn’t want to do. I acted in Darr because Aamir turned it down and I worked in Dil Aashna Hai because Saif refused it. These films paid well and I was working to avoid unemployment. When Dilip saab (Dilip Kumar) and I were watching my Devdas, I asked him, ‘Why did you do Devdas?’ And he said, ‘Pata nahin. Tab ek lakh rupaiya mila tha’. Then success happened… My speech ends. Normally, people clap now.”

India’s first televised ’swayamvar’ concluded here late Sunday with the famous Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant choosing Toronto-based businessman Elesh Parujanwala as her life partner in a unique reality TV show.

In NDTV Imagine’s ‘Rakhi ka Swayamvar’, Rakhi Sawant made the final choice from the three finalists — from the original list of 16 contestants in 26 episodes. The other two finalists were young aspirant Manas Katyal and businessman Chhitiz Jain, both from New Delhi.

‘I have been watching Elesh from day one. On and off the camera, he has been the same and has really taken care of me. He is everything I was looking for and I am glad to have found him on the Swayamvar. The swayamvar means finding a jeevan saathi (life partner) and I have found Elesh.

‘Today is our engagement. I am ready to get married now, but we need to understand each other better off camera. We will soon get married in front of all of you in keeping with all our traditions,’ Rakhi Sawant said after announcing her choice to a waiting audience across the country.

Decked up in red and gold lehenga-choli by Neeta Lulla and kundan jewellery, Rakhi Sawant looked a perfect bride.

London, May 23 (IANS) While she is travelling all around the world and meeting famous people, Freida Pinto, heroine of the Oscar-winning film "Slumdog Millionaire", feels Mumbai will always be her home.

"I don't have a fixed address as I'm making movies all over the world. I'm filming in Israel at the moment and who knows after that, so I'm not making plans to buy my own place yet," quoted Freida as saying.

"Ultimately, Mumbai will always be home. That's where my family is," she added.

The 24-year-old actress is presently working on a film, "Miral", in Israel and has also been signed by Woody Allen for an untitled film to be shot in London.

Freida, a model and a travel show presenter in India, said when she auditioned for Danny Boyle's "Slumdog...", she didn't know that it would become such a big hit.

"I had no idea 'Slumdog Millionaire' would become such a huge success. In fact, when we were filming, none of us expected it, so the feeling of surprise and shock is still with me."

Just recently, the first promo of the much in news anticipated Mallika Sherawat starrer Hissss is out and we must admit it does make for an interesting watch.

The promo gives the impression that it is a no nonsense thriller that is certainly not meant for the faint hearted as it has plenty of blood and gore. A surefire Adults Only certificate cannot be ruled out from Indian Censor Board.

The trailer shows Mallika Sherawat slithering in mud and becoming a deadly snake. She is shown covered in a body suit that fits her like second skin and during many times while watching the trailer it gives the impression that Mallika hasn’t worn anything.

There are sequences shown with many murders happening. In one scene Mallika is shown slithering up a tree and baring her fangs and shocks your wits. Then in another scene she is shown transformed into a helpless woman. Also seen in the trailer are the film’s other Indian stars, Irrfan Khan and Divya Dutta.

The plot of Hissss revolves around a snake woman played by Mallika Sherawat looking for revenge.

Actor Parmeet Sethi is all set to turn a director and is making his directorial debut with Yash Raj Banner.

Parmeet’s forthcoming film resembles Rock On a lot in story line, but it is about a Punjabi band.

A source discloses, “Parmeet is quite eager about his directorial debut and is currently looking for an appropriate title. The movie is based on a group of 5-6 people who form a band for Punjabi rock music. While Shahid Kapur and Anushka Sharma have already been finalized to play pivotal roles, Parmeet has also signed Veer Das and Indian Idol contestant Meiyang Chang as lead actors for the movie. The movie is based on the life and music of the rock band, and how the music changes their lives and finally brings them together again.”

Parmeet Sethi tells, “I won’t say that my film has got nothing to do with music but it is not exactly based on what you are saying.”

The film will be directed by TV actor Parmeet Sethi. The film is yet to be titled but it is a Parmeet’s directorial debut. Parmeet didn’t give too many details about the film as per the contract norms. But we heard that the Ex-Indian Idol contestant Meiyang Chang and comedian Veer Das are also part of the film.
