Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision is said to have got a rude shock recently when they approached the talented director Murugadoss to direct a film for them. Their offer of Rs. 2 crores seemed to be too low for the director and he is said to have demanded Rs. 11 crores for the film. Eventually it seems the baffled Ashtavinayak officials backed out but Murugadoss claims he is yet to meet the officials to discuss whenever he has the script ready. Time will only tell which of these versions hold true, but the fact that talent demands money irrespective of market conditions seems to not go well with the producers!!
